This show may suck, and I myself might be a slave to the British crown, but you have to admit, this show's rendition of the royal family, particularly with how they're drawn, is spot on.

I was also told that apparently, when this movie first released, Scottish people were also peeved off by its heavy inaccuracy. If it was a fantasy with made up characters based in england and Scotland, then it would br considered a fantastic movie.

The thing about offensiveness and south park is, they don't try to be offensive, they just are. They don't need to advertise themself as "edgy" or "triggering"...

Personally, the reason that I found the show disappointing was because I went into it thinking it was going to be some epic fantasy quest plot line. Something comparable to that of Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Narnia, etc. but something with comedy as much as adventure. There was NO adventure. At least not an epic one, anyway. Don’t get me wrong, I think there is DEFINITELY a market for an adult cartoon/ fantasy parody series, similar to an animated Order of the Stick (iykyk). But with the plot line it currently has, the whole time, I was thinking, “and whyyyyyy is it set in a medieval fantasy world?” The setting didn’t seem to add anything interesting to the story. It could be set in the real world and literally NOTHING about the plot would change. I wanted to like this show. I really did. I watched the whole first season hoping it would get more interesting but it never did. As a fan of fantasy adventure quest stories, this was a huge disappointment.

Easy A was so much better in terms of moral message movies. I mean it had much more soul and depth in the characters.

Scrappy finally escaped the years of hate he gotten. And all he had to do was take out a character people legitimately hated.

the irony being that Futurama accidentally did this premise both better and in a more triggering, genuinely offensive way (like having implications about real world trans people and cis women as opposed to "how am I supposed to be offended by an argument you completely made up?"). Like, a progressive leaning show already did their idea but more effectively over a decade ago. How are they not embarrassed?

I've seen the JelloApocalypse video of why Fred is the best character too many times to admit and forever I will remember how the writer/director/I don't remember his role rn hated Scrappy so much he made him the villain and I guess the movie did so poorly Scrappy was essentially deleted from all future iterations of the franchise (until Velma but does that count?) so the bit was "he hated Scrappy so much he killed Scrappy forever let his epitaph on his grave be "I killed Scrappy-Doo" and that's great. Until Velma happened but again: does that count?
